[Inspo] Nail Art

I haven't always been into painting my nails. I didn't know what gel polish was so never tried it, and normal nail varnish annoys me so it was just one of those things I never did.

However, I had a lot of requests from brides so I decided to do a mani/pedi course and then a gel mani/pedi course. I now love it! It is SO much easier to use and stays put for 2-4 weeks, depending on nail growth and how much you are doing with your hands. I follow WAH Nails on Instagram and they do some seriously cool nail art.

Katie Barnes won Nail Professional of the Year at the Professional Beauty Awards 2018, I will definitely be checking out her YouTube videos and training courses!I actually love painting nails now, and I will be doing a lot of practise to get up to the high standard that I want to provide. I have had some good feedback so far about the polish lasting and I am having fun trying out different brands. Obviously sticking to cruelty free and vegan!

Nail Salon of the Year went to Coco Nail Bar in London for the 3rd time, although with an on-site cocktail bar I can imagine it is pretty impressive.
