A soft and ethereal hair and makeup look

Soft and ethereal wedding hair and makeup at Lillibrooke Manor

Kat and Mike got married at the beautiful Lillibrooke Manor in Maidenhead, so it was nice and close to home. I’ve done a few weddings there now and I can say it is one of my favourite venues! There’s 2 separate spaces for the nearlyweds to get ready (or bride and groom if you’re traditional). All the buildings are stunning and the newly refurbished getting ready space for the bridal party is really spacious and has everything you might need on a wedding morning.

Kat wore a vintage style wedding dress with a bit of sparkle. She found it on Vinted and it looked so good on her.

The Makeup Look

Kat didn’t want something that everyone else goes for, and I’d just purchased some new liquid eyeshadows which I thought I’d try. I used Danessa Myricks Colorfix Foils in shade Parade to enhance Kat’s brown eyes. I had to include sparkle too because of her dress.
The lip and cheek colour was originally peach at her preview, but we switched to pink as this suited her undertone better and it definitely paid off.

THE HAIRSTYLE

The most popular request – relaxed waves with a half updo. We incorporated a fishtail braid at the back and pinned in the hair vine as a headband so you could see how pretty it is from the front.
