My favourite vegan and cruelty free makeup in 2023

Hello!

My weddings for 2023 are all done and they were amazing. All so varied and different, I loved all the looks and I even did my first grooms makeup. Keep up to date on my instagram if you want to see the pics.

All the feedback I had said that the makeup lasted so long, so I thought I’d share my most used and loved vegan and cruelty free products from my kit.

I brought these quite recently as I needed some more neutral matte shades in my kit, and they are so good! I love the Naked palettes anyway so I knew these basic ones would work really well - they blend very easily and last a long time.

I tend to use the same shades a lot from palettes, so I didn’t want to buy a huge one with loads of colours I wasn’t going to use. These are perfect.

Definitely a staple in my kit now.

I’d heard good things about both products, all the makeup artists I know rave about them.

Halo Glow is meant to be a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I like to see what options there are on the high street that are lower price, as when I recommend products during makeup lessons, I don’t want you leaving with a HUGE shopping list that needs you to spend hundreds on a few products. You want to use your money wisely, right?

Halo Glow is a lovely formula - there are more shades than the 3 I have brought but as the coverage is sheer, they work well on lots of skin tones. They are quite shiny though so on oily skin I would recommend using under your foundation and topping with mattifying powder to get the best out of it.

The Hydrating Camo Concealer is probably the best one I’ve tried in years. It gives lovely, even coverage and lasts a long time. More importantly, it is perfect for under eye coverage because as the name suggests, it is hydrating. This works better than a lot of more expensive vegan and cruelty free concealers that I’ve tried in the past.

Oh my god - my fave, fave FAVE product I’ve purchased this year. I regret not buying this a lot sooner. It works well on every skin type - especially my oily skin. The shade range is brilliant. This is a buildable, medium to full coverage foundation so this is one to invest in - you don’t need to use a lot in one go.

I like to apply by dotting on your face and spreading/patting with a stippling foundation brush.

This is one vegan and cruelty free makeup palette that will be in my kit forever I think. I use as a powder all over the face if you want a lovely, radiant glow, or a highlighter on the cheeks if that’s where you want you main focus. Such a lovely palette, it lasts so long and just makes your skin look flawless and glowy.

These are gifted products sent from the Seen Group, but they are two of my absolute favourites. The primer not only works so well at helping your makeup go on smoothly and stay longer, it feels really refreshing and hydrating too.

The setting spray is brilliant, again at keeping your makeup staying in place and it doesn’t spray on too wet, so you can spray and go if you’re in a rush. Great to keep in your bag too if you’re on the go and need a refresh.

I have been using this a while now and it holds brows in place really well, I use this on everybody. The smell of the coconut mist is gorgeous too.
